JUNIOR ANNUAL SPORTS DAY 2022-2023
“Gold medals aren’t really made of gold. They’re made of sweat,
determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.” – Dan Gable.
Annual Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in
our school on 22nd February 2023 for classes I to V.
The school playground was overflowing with zeal, passion and
excitement. The program began with the arrival of the
Chief Guest Mr. Anoop Singh, Councilor Gurugram along
with Sister Neena Varghese, Principal of Our Lady of Fatima
Convent Junior School.
Chief Guests hoisted the school flag and the students
welcomed them with a melodious Welcome Song and graceful
Prayer Dance. The students displayed a wide array of energetic
and bouncy sports events ranging from March Past (class-wise),
Yoga, Mass PT, Race, Balance the Cone, Hurdle Race, Relay
Race, Sack Race, Come with Partner, and Tug of War.
The Chief Guests awarded the medals and certificates to the
position holders. They also addressed the gathering and
emphasized the importance of sports in a child’s life and
applauded the school Principal, Sister Sherly Celsa
Emmanuval for the school’s outstanding achievements.
The sports day ended with the National Anthem.
