An Awareness Program on Anger Management was conducted for the students of Class 6th to help them understand the importance of managing emotions effectively. The program was aimed at equipping students with strategies to identify and manage their anger in healthy ways. The primary objective was to create awareness about anger triggers, its impact on behavior, and effective techniques to control anger. The program also sought to provide students with tools for self-reflection and emotional regulation.
The session began with an interactive discussion on the meaning of anger, its causes, and the difference between healthy and unhealthy expressions of anger.
Students were introduced to simple yet effective anger management techniques such as:
Deep breathing exercises.
Counting backward from 10.Using positive affirmations to calm down.
The techniques taught during the program were well-received, and the students expressed their willingness to apply them in their daily lives.
Students are encouraged to maintain the following journal daily to help manage and track their anger.Students are advised to review their journals weekly to identify patterns and reflect on their progress in managing anger.
